Why we exist
Science is a right.
Not a privilege.
MyScience is a registered Australian charity committed to bringing authentic, inquiry-led science into every primary classroom. We were founded on the belief that curiosity has no price tag — and that every child, every teacher, and every school community deserves access to real scientific investigation.

Mission Statement
To give every primary school teacher the confidence, every child the wonder, and every community the joy of authentic scientific investigation — without financial barrier. We exist to open doors, not to sell tickets.

What we stand for.
01
Science belongs to everyone
We don't charge teachers for professional learning. We don't lock resources behind fees. Every guide, every mentor connection, every toolkit is offered freely — because a child's curiosity should never depend on a school's budget.
02
Every dollar goes back to the classroom
As a registered ACNC charity, MyScience has no shareholders and distributes no surplus. Every grant, donation, and partnership is directed entirely to mentor training, teacher professional learning, and classroom resources.
03
Communities teach each other
Our model connects primary teachers with secondary student mentors and STEM professionals from universities and industry — building local science communities sustained by the people already in schools and neighbourhoods.

In her own words
"I didn't start MyScience to build an organisation. I started it because I know what science did for me — it gave me a way to ask questions, to think critically, to marvel at the world. I want every child, every teacher, to have that same gift."
Anne Forbes has spent her career at the intersection of scientific research and primary education. A published researcher in science pedagogy and curriculum design, she built MyScience to close the gap between the scientific community and the primary classrooms that need it most — permanently, at scale, and without financial barriers for schools.
